364: Dave Asprey on Biohacking, The Scientific Power of Fear and Forgiveness, Why Willpower is a Sham, and Morning Habits That Will Change Your Life

Podcast · November 1, 2023

I’m pretty excited about today’s conversation. While the main focus of the show is mental and emotional health and spiritual growth, we can’t ignore the fact that we are spirit, soul, and body. And so I want to take time to have conversations about how our mental and emotional well-being interfaces with our physiology. That’s the conversation we’re having today with Dave Asprey, founder of Bulletproof, and widely considered the “father of biohacking.” Today, we’re going to explore biohacking with Dave, the scientific power of fear and forgiveness, why willpower is a sham (you know I’m here for that one!), and morning habits that will change your life.

Guest Bio:

Dave Asprey is the “Father of Biohacking” and founder of Bulletproof 360, Inc. He is a four-time New York Times bestselling author, host of the Webby award-winning podcast Bulletproof Radio, and the creator of the global phenomenon Bulletproof Coffee and the Bulletproof Diet.

As an overweight, overworked, and unhealthy Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Dave found himself with a dire decision to make – get a healthy mind, body, and spirit, or live a much shorter life span. Dave chose to not only live but to thrive and share that knowledge with his community. He has spent the past two and a half decades scouring the planet from Tibet to the Andes discovering and engineering ways to fully realize human potential. Transforming himself into a super high-performing human being, the experience and knowledge gained was too valuable not to share.
