391: Steve Carter on Why Forgiveness is a Solo Sport, The Horrible Positive Spins on Tragedy, How We Waste Waiting Seasons, and Unpacking the Trauma of Betrayal

Podcast · May 1, 2024

All of us have experienced varying degrees of loss, betrayal, and heartbreak throughout life. And as such, I feel it necessary to double down on that topic. So today, Steve Carter joins us to discuss why forgiveness is a solo sport, the horrible positive spins we too often slap on tragedy, how we waste waiting seasons in life, and how to understand better the trauma involved in betrayal.

Guest Bio:

Steve Carter is the bestselling author of The Thing Beneath The Thing, host of the Craft and Character podcast, a coach to communicators who are looking to find their unique voice or take their next step of growth in speaking, and teaches regularly at churches, conferences, and various businesses around the country.
