This week, we’re celebrating episode 400 of the podcast. I’m thrilled you’re here, and today, NYU Professor and TED Speaker Dr. Tessa West joins us to discuss the hidden symptoms of burnout and how to know when it’s time to make a major change in life. Add to that, we’re going to take a look at the myth of work-life balance. We’re also going to talk about how to hurdle social awkwardness and why the modern dating scene is a dumpster fire.
Guest Bio
Tessa West grew up in Southern California, where she spent her high school years ditching class to go to the beach. She now lives in New York, where she’s a social psychology professor at New York University. Tessa studies how people interact with each other, often in awkward social situations, and what makes some people more influential than others during negotiations and collaborations. She writes about all of the ways in which we can leverage our social relationships to solve everyday problems with people at work.
