368: Anthony Evans on Signs of Inflammation in Your Soul, Disguising Dysfunction, How Grief Changes Us, and How to Hold Joy and Sorrow Simultaneously

Podcast · November 29, 2023

This week, Gospel music artist Anthony Evans is back on the podcast. You’ll remember him from episode 306 of the podcast. But this week, Anthony and I sat down for a candid conversation about signs we’re experiencing inflammation in our souls, how dysfunction disguises itself, how grief changes us, and how to hold joy and sorrow simultaneously, which I find to be really relevant to this time of year.

Guest Bio:

Anthony Evans has voiced the Gospel for more than a decade with such a melodic, thought-provoking style that he has emerged as one of Christian Music’s premiere male vocalists, songwriters, and worship leaders. His time in Los Angeles with NBC’s hit show “The Voice” led him to think more progressively about his music—without compromising his faith and message. With eight solo projects, multiple music videos, and inspirational literary collaborations with his father Dr. Tony Evans, and sister Priscilla Shirer, Anthony has vibrated the doors of the church and ventured beyond.

Healing What You Can’t Erase – My NEW BOOK!

I’m thrilled to tell you about my new book, Healing What You Can’t Erase: Transform Your Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Health from the Inside Out, available everywhere books are sold on March 19, 2024.

In Healing What You Can’t Erase, I leverage my personal story of adversity, loss, and healing to teach you how to forge your roadmap to wholeness from the inside out. This path doesn’t rely on willpower, self-help, or self-healing, but rather the daily transformative power of the Holy Spirit engaged with principles of neuroscience, psychology, and Scripture. While the pain-filled memories from our past can’t be erased, we can experience psychological, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing that lasts.

Pre-orders will begin in January, but my publisher has graciously made a sneak peek of the book available to you immediately. Go to HealingWhatYouCantErase.com right now to sign up and receive a FREE sneak peek of the book before it hits stores in March.
