I want you to pause for a moment and think about the most frustrating, disarming situation you’ve either witnessed or have directly been involved in. Literally right now, allow your emotions to go to that place. How do you feel right now? I’ll bet some of you feel a little helpless. Maybe others feel apathetic and disengaged by what seems to be happening. And maybe, some of you feel a surge of adrenaline to stand-up in whatever is happening in that situation and create change. In all of those cases, though, I do want you to know that you can pivot your mindset and make some changes to your thinking that will cause you to provoke real and meaningful change. Why? Because the God Who lives in you has empowered you to rewrite the story of tomorrow in your own life and in your legacy. That’s the conversation we’re having today with the CEO of Convoy of Hope, Hal Donaldson.
As a young boy, after his father was killed by a drunk driver and his mother suffered devastating injuries, Hal Donaldson was taken in by another family—an experience that first exposed him to the power of compassion and creating change. Later in life, his career as an investigative journalist took him across the country where the daily newsfeed full of suffering and injustice began to shape his passion for creating positive change in the lives of others. Fast-forward to today, Hal serves as co-founder and CEO of Convoy of Hope—an organization devoted to creating lasting positive change for people who have no hope for tomorrow.
After hearing Hal’s story, and after having listened to today’s conversation, you’ll learn how to evaluate the resources you already have, navigate real concerns and risks, check your motives, and ultimately become equipped as an agitator with purpose.

What Listeners Are Saying…
“So great to find a podcast that is both encouraging and challenging! It is professionally produced, yet still has an informal feel like I’m hanging out with Chris… And frankly, I’d love to hang out with him! I really appreciate his heart and have been able to apply many of his topics in my life to help me grow professionally, physically, and relationally. A+!”
