403: Christine Lakin on The Value of Repetition When No One Else is Watching, Embracing Slow and Steady Development, Playing Al Lambert on “Step by Step,” and Letting Ego Lead vs. Staying Teachable

Podcast · August 28, 2024

If you grew up in the 90’s, and watched TGIF every Friday night, I think you’re going to love today’s episode. Christine Lakin joins us today. Best known to us as Al Lambert from Step by Step, my conversation with Christine is anything but on the surface. It’s intelligent, encouraging, and really challenging, as we discuss the value of repetition when no one else is watching and why embracing slow and steady development is the key to growth in life. Of course, we do have fun today, because, for many of you, she was your first TV crush. So, we get under the hood of what it was like to play Al on Step by Step and so much more. I want you to lean into this conversation. Yes, it’s a lot of fun, but I am thoroughly expecting that you’re going learn a lot, too.
