This week, we will be talking about a topic that’s important to me: how to trust our emotions without being driven by them, and how to expose and heal the shadow self. We’ll also discuss why we’re typically not as self-aware as we think we are, and why our memories are not complete, accurate pictures of reality. I’m excited to be joined by Dr. Merry Lin, a psychologist, and author with over 30 years of clinical expertise. Dr. Merry Lin is an expert on emotional intelligence, trauma, and self-awareness. She will help us understand how our emotions can both guide and mislead us, and how to develop a healthy relationship with our emotions. We’ll also learn about the shadow self, the hidden parts of ourselves that we’re often afraid to acknowledge. And we’ll explore why our memories are often distorted and incomplete. This is a really important conversation, and I think it will resonate with a lot of people.
