Andi was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, and in 2002, married her husband Paul in Sydney, Australia. In 2010, her family packed up their lives and moved to NYC to establish Liberty Church, which is now a growing church with multiple communities in the city. But it was in the last couple years, though, that challenges in her own life forced her to answer the question of whether or not she was living as a fake. The death of her mother-in-law and other hardships made her come to terms with what she really believed…and lived. You see, we live in a culture where many identify as “Christian” without fully embracing what it looks like to follow Jesus day-in and day-out. And in our conversation today, Andi doesn’t pull any punches in helping us determine our lives are void of true transformation. Is the gospel, the message of Jesus, simply a self-help tool? And how do live the life in 2019? It’s time to ask ourselves, “Am I really following Jesus? Or am I just faking it?

We live in a culture where many identify as “Christian” without fully embracing what it looks like to follow Jesus day-in and day-out. After gathering on a Sunday, do we simply go about our business, void of true transformation? Is the gospel simply a self-help tool, the church just a place where our needs can be met? It’s time to ask ourselves, “Am I really following Jesus? Or am I just faking it?” With eye-opening personal stories, Scripture, and thought-provoking questions, Andi Andrew lovingly invites readers to examine their hearts to discover whether their faith is a genuine, life-giving marriage of belief and practice in response to Christ’s life and sacrifice, or if it is just a lifestyle choice on par with any other. She encourages readers to surrender their whole lives to Jesus daily, grapple with hard questions they may have been avoiding, and discover a life fully alive, following in the way, the truth, and the life of Jesus Christ. What Listeners Are Saying…
“So great to find a podcast that is both encouraging and challenging! It is professionally produced, yet still has an informal feel like I’m hanging out with Chris… And frankly, I’d love to hang out with him! I really appreciate his heart and have been able to apply many of his topics in my life to help me grow professionally, physically, and relationally. A+!”
