This week, we’re diving deep into the theme of spiritual maturity with someone who has profoundly shaped my life: Pastor Loren Covarrubias. Pastor Loren has been a mentor and guide to me since I was a young boy, making this conversation incredibly personal and meaningful.
In this episode, we explore:
- Why people don’t mature and the obstacles that hold them back.
- How to develop spiritual perception to navigate life’s complexities.
- The dangers of mishandling the prophetic and its impact on spiritual growth.
- Why seasons of desolation are often where the Lord does His greatest work in transforming our hearts.
If you’ve ever wrestled with feeling stuck in your faith or wondered how God is at work during life’s most challenging seasons, this conversation will bring clarity, encouragement, and hope.
Guest Bio
Loren Covarrubias, senior pastor of Mt. Zion Church, began his journey in full-time ministry in the late 1970s. As a young man in his mid-twenties, he had a heart for God’s people and a word from the Lord calling him to establish a church. Over 40 years has passed since then and Mt. Zion Church continues to impact not just its local community, but also the other nations of the world. Loren is married to his wife and ministry partner, Bonnie.
